Mont Marte Premium Sand Texture Medium - Coarse 250ml

Add shapes and peaks to your acrylic painting with a sandy effect using this Sand Texture Medium. This medium is ideal for achieving texture and 3D effects in your artworks. It features a white, opaque finish with coarse sand granules and is suitable for porous surfaces like cardboard, wood, canvas and more. You can mix it directly with acrylic paint or apply alone and wait till dry and add acrylics or oil paint over the top.

Plus, the formula has a quick drying time, however thicker application may take a bit longer to dry

Directions:

Option 1

• Using a palette knife, mix directly with acrylic paints to create your desired texture. Try a 1:3 ratio of sand medium to paint, or 1:1 ratio medium to paint

• Option 2

• Apply medium directly to art work and once dry, paint over with acrylic paint

Handy hints:

• Use a palette knife or modelling tools to create effects

• Protect work with a varnish or medium once finished work is dry

• Not recommended to thin with water or mediums 

• Clean up with warm soapy water while wet
